Privacy Policy

Last updated October 31, 2026

This policy explains what The Coding Gopher (“we”) collects and why.

What we collect

  • Email address: when you sign up for a free lesson, sign in, or purchase.
  • Payment information: processed and stored by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage data: basic, privacy-friendly analytics (pages viewed, referrer, device type). Lesson progress (which lessons you opened or completed) is stored with your customer record at our payment processor, so it follows you across devices and lets us apply the refund policy fairly.

How we use it

  • To provide course access and send sign-in links and receipts.
  • To send course-related emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
  • To improve the site.

Processors

Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in email), Kit (marketing email), Mux or Bunny Stream (video delivery), Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly analytics). Each processes data only on our behalf.

Cookies

We use a strictly necessary, signed session cookie to keep you signed in, and a cookie remembering that you unlocked a free lesson.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data through our contact form. If you are in the EU/UK you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
